Sowing Instructions

Sow: Very thinly (aim for 2-3cm apart) around 1cm deep from March to September directly into prepared soil on a sunny site.  Alternatively, sow organic radish seed directly into pots on the patio or balcony.  Radish are quite happy to grow as companion plants to other, taller plants.  This can provide them with a bit of cooling shade on hot summer days, when too much hot sun can make them run to seed.  Sow a few seeds every 3 weeks to give you a continuous supply throughout the summer months.

Aftercare: Water well in dry conditions, and that’s it!

Harvest: After around 4-6 weeks.  Pick alternate ones as baby radishes, then firm back the soil.  This will give the others left in the ground room to grow on for a further week or two.  Be sure to pick the remainder while they are still crisp and not past maturity!
